Unil Opal’s main activity is to formulate, produce and market a wide range of lubricants for the exclusive needs of professionals working in the fields of industry, automotive, agriculture, transport, construction and marine.
Most of the production centers are located in France, the Unil Opal head office being in the Loire Valley.
Besides France, the group is also in Belgium, the Netherlands and Spain. Unil Opal is established on 9 sites, 7 of which being manufacturing facilities, has 300 employees including a salesforce of 100 dedicated to not less than 60 000 customers marking in 7 major markets : industry, automobile, agriculture, transport, construction, marine and moto/scooter.
In 2006, Unil Opal’s output reached 46 000 tons with a turnover of 90 million Euros.
The Unil Opal group has a strong local presence in the regions and is today the Leader in France as a lubricant manufacturer (besides Petroleum CIEs) with 38 000 tons in 2006.
